2.Introduce a regular sport or favorite form of exercise in your daily routine and make it a habit to do 1 hour of vigorous exercise once every week.

3.Discard dairy.To detox your lungs, get rid of all the dairy products. This will help your body exclude the toxins during the lung cleanse. 

4.Green tea has become the latest health fad (for good reason), but now that you’ve quit smoking you should stick with a cup of black tea every morning. 5. Avoid candy bars, pies, cakes, pastries, taffy, gelatin, and other sugary confectionery. Such sweets can be comfort foods for some people, but if your lungs hurt after quitting smoking these types of foods aren’t going to help you feel better.

It contains many vitamins and minerals including potassium, magnesium, beta-carotene and zinc, and as an added bonus, helps spice up bland dishes! Certain extracts of ginger are also known to kill lung cancer cells. You can add ginger to many dishes as a herb or consume it in the form of ginger tea.

7. In a tall glass of warm water, add a quarter cup of lemon juice and drink it before breakfast. You can also opt for a glass of pineapple or cranberry juice instead of lemon juice for lung cleanse.
