Laziness may reflect a lack of self-esteem, a lack of positive recognition by others, a lack of discipline stemming from low self-confidence, or a lack of interest in the activity or belief in its efficacy.

Main cause of Laziness

1.Poor diet

Proper diet and nutrition are important if you want to become productive. Having a poor diet makes you easily stressed. And what happens when you’re tired? You become lazy. You just don’t have enough energy to complete tasks.

Because your body doesn’t have the resources to support your movement and proper decision making. What you eat determines your brain activity and body energy levels. The healthier your diet is, the better you can function.

2.Being Dehydrated

Being dehydrated means, you don’t have enough fluid in your body, and that could very well cause symptoms like headaches, cramps, dizziness and no energy. Water makes up the majority of our body, not getting enough water in our system is another major cause of laziness.

3.Lack Of iron

One potential yet the common cause is that your iron levels are low. It doesn't matter if you sleep long enough if your iron levels are low chances are, you still feel tired regardless. Low iron is especially common in pregnant women and women on their periods as well as in vegans who go through extremes or those who follow salad based diets.

4.lack of sleep

Another thing possibly causing your laziness is your sleeping patterns. If you are staying up too late and neglecting your sleep, it has a spillover into the next day. A body that is not rejuvenated through sleep will not function at its best. You won’t feel motivated and laziness will start to creep in. Aiming for 7-8 hours of quality sleep each night will help to remedy this.

How to get rid from Laziness

1.Eat a Healthy Diet

Many times, people are lazy because they do not have the energy to do anything. This can be caused by a lack of a nutritious diet. Consider your diet, and try to eat healthy foods that help to fuel your body. This can help to give you more energy to get up and get things done.

2.Drinking water

Keeping yourself hydrated is one great way to treat and prevent lethargy and laziness. Dehydration can leave you feeling fatigued and tired. Thus, adequate intake of water and other healthy fluids can have a significant impact.

3.Doing Exercise

Exercise releases endorphins, which make you feel energetic and productive. This is great for overcoming laziness.

I also notice that doing a workout makes me more likely to finish work tasks. I take the momentum of ticking one box and keep the ball rolling all day. This is great for overcoming laziness and stopping it from coming back.
