How to get rid of wrinkles? can it remove at Home?

Wrinkles Result

Wrinkles are a result of your skin losing elasticity, a reduction in collagen production, and increase in dryness. As you age, your skin cells are not as efficient at replacing themselves and this can lead to sagging, creases, and lines on the skin.

Environmental factors like smoking, sun exposure, and even gravity can wear on your skin overtime. Genetics also play a role in causing wrinkles.

What Causes Wrinkles?

1.Poor nutrition

Depriving your body of nutrient-rich foods can affect the health and strength of your skin.

A diet full of highly-processed foods won’t make your skin as strong and supple as it could be. Nutrient-rich foods like oily fish, protein and fresh fruit and vegetables contain the vitamins and minerals your skin needs to maintain it’s soft, youthful glow.

2.Smoking

Smokers tend to experience premature wrinkles and their skin often appears dramatically older than that of people of the same age who do not smoke. Harmful chemicals in tobacco damage skin in a variety of ways, affecting elasticity, texture, color, and chemical makeup. One of these is by producing excess metalloproteinase.

3.Aging

A lot happens to your skin as you age. First up, your collagen supply decreases. Now if you didn’t know, collagen is a protein responsible for maintaining the skin’s structure. It is necessary for water retention, and helps the skin stay smooth, strong and firm.

With decreased collagen, the bond between the dermis and epidermis is weakened, causing wrinkles. Your skin also produces less natural oils as you age, drying it out and encouraging the appearance of skin wrinkles.

Treatment for wrinkles

Daily use of a high SPF sunscreen (SPF 15 plus or SPF 30 plus) is the most effective thing you can do to prevent wrinkles. There are a number of cosmetic creams that help conceal wrinkles and disguise age-related changes. The effects of these creams are temporary and only last for a day or so.

1.Moisturize

Moisturizing traps water in the skin, which can help reduce the appearance of some fine lines and make your complexion look brighter and younger.

2.Laser resurfacing

Laser resurfacing can be used to treat fine to moderate lines and wrinkles and small scars, such as those that develop after chickenpox or acne.

A laser (a beam of high-energy light) is used to remove the outer layers of the skin on your face. This damages the skin and as it heals, new skin forms that’s tighter and firmer. It’s often used to treat wrinkles around the eyes and mouth.

The more intense the laser treatment, the greater the effect but the longer the time for healing and the greater the risks involved. Side-effects can include swelling and itching as well as redness and skin colour changes which can take months to improve.

3.Avoid Using Soap

Soap has the ability to take away the oils that are naturally produced by the skin. If at all soap is used, then one should ensure that we follow it up with a moisturizer to trap in the oils.

4.Aloe Vera

Known for its healing properties and enriched Vitamin E content, applying aloe vera on the skin for 90 days continuously can help us get rid of the wrinkles. Aloe Vera helps us in getting rid of the dull skin too.

5.Coconut Oil

Using coconut oil regularly can help the wrinkles to fade and it also acts as a moisturizing agent. It also restores the elasticity of the skin as well. Coconut oil must be massaged under the affected areas and must be left overnight.
